Lake Travis is just a short hour trip outside of Austin Texas. It is home to austins three big gay parties and pride celebrations called splashdown or the last splash for the third one.

Everyone is welcomed at Lake travis as it is a huge family freindly lake offering parasailing, jetskiing, water skiing and a whole array of water sports "hehehe no pun intended". It is a ton of fun. People dock boats there, you can relax on the rocks or by the lake in the woods. You can go exploring and find lots of other gay couples looking for everything from close encounter friendships to gay groups who enjoy hiking and out door sports.

If the sports and cruising the woods aren't your thing, then maybe jumping onto a boat and relaxing in the sun with a drink or ten is. Free drinks everywhere, tons of people singing and dnacing to the djs blaring music from the stages and cliffs.
